4th of July Hike

By Thursday, Luke and I were really anxious to see our (biggest) babies again! We went to Scofield late Wednesday night after my "Shrek the Musical" rehearsal and had the cabin to ourselves through most of Thursday, the 4th while we waited for them to ride up with Grandma Bonnie.

We woke up early and went on a hike on the trails above Fish Creek that morning.  It was a really nice, leisurely walk. We also had fun playing with our camera, our dog, and our cute little baby, Lou-Lou.

The rest of the 4th was pretty quiet. When the rest of the family showed up at the cabin we had a barbecue and enjoyed our Nation's Birthday relaxing together.

Bridal Veil Falls

On July 2nd, Luke and his rapelling buddies conquered Bridal Veil Falls up Provo Canyon. I didn't get pictures of their first decent down the top falls, but I was ready and waiting at the bottom of the middle tier.
Isn't this place gorgeous?! And Luke said the upper falls were even more impressive.
 My friend Melissa
Luke (didn't get too great of pictures of him because he yelled for me to do video...which i haden't done before so I wasn't very familiar with how it worked)

Peacock Reunion---Millsite Res. in Ferron, Utah

June 29th and June 30th
Friday night we camped in the campground at Millsite by Luke's Uncle Mike and his Family and his Aunt Tammy and her's. It was all fun and games till the winds kicked up through most of the night sounding like our tent was being ripped to shreds..

But come morning the wind was calm and a hot, beautiful day followed.
Before the reunion festivities at lunch time we spent the morning fishing and playing in the water.
 The roasted pig-----DELICIOUS!
Grandpa Bert played with one really hot baby. (it was SUCH a hot day!!)
Great Grandpa Peacock-- the reunion was for he and his brothers and their families
There was tons of food, a tie-dying t-shirt craft, and a raffle to help off-set the reunion expenses...and a huge water fight at the end leaving Grandpa Bert soaking wet (and all the people he soaked first!)
I couldn't decide if I should bring watermelon or cookies.... so I decided to bring cookies that looked like watermelon :)
The raffle goods (and we made out like bandits!)
 I got the necklace :) :)
The kids won a lot of prizes as well
After the reunion wound down we went swimming again and this time Linaya joined the fun. I thought she wouldn't like the water but she felt the cool water with her toes and instantly started kicking and wiggle towards it. Poor thing was so hot that she welcomed the coolness. Eventually she was up to her armpits in the cold water..soggy diaper and all :)

That night we stayed in Castle Dale and attended Baby Gauge's baby blessing on Sunday. Sadly we had to hurry home to our church meetings right after we ate lunch.  But we are very glad we could be there to support the Bingham's and our handsome little nephew.
