March

One of the best things that happened in March was our family being in the community theater's production of Peter Pan.
We had been rehearsing since January and it was finally show time.
Luke agreed to be in a play with me at our marriage retreat we attended in August.  The first show to come around that our whole family could be in (well beside Vera of course) was Peter Pan.
He was so awesome at auditions and totally won the directors over.
They cast him as Mr Darling and me and Mrs Darling. It was SOO fun being on the stage with him.  He totally rocked it and seemed like a natural.  He may not have thought so but everyone else did.

Tianna and Adelia were Lost boys and were SOOO cute.  They were the best little boys on the stage!
Linaya was a Neverland animal and got to sing in a preshow and intermission number.  She was adorable!
I LOVED being on stage with my sweet family. My favorite hobby and I finally got to do it with my favorite people.

In between the play, Linaya had dance competition.

Back to performances

Free Ice Cream day at Dairy Queen

Adelia had a field trip to Hogle Zoo.  Luke was luckily working in town this week and we could make it a family day.
We however, did not anticipating becoming one of the only snow days of the winter.

I giggle every time I see these photos because Luke had shaved for the play and walked around looking silly with his handlebar mustache all day

Tianna with her 22 rifle. The Lost Boy hair and makeup made it all the more effective

We went to the Lincoln Day dinner.. and found Lincoln himself!

Next up: Easter!
