MAY

School's almost out which means it's time for teacher apprecition and door decor.  This is the door I decorated for Tianna's 4th grade teacher
Did not decorate this door but here is Adelia with her 2nd grade teacher

On May 5th we went to a fundraiser for our dear friend Robyn battling Leukemia and other's from our old neighborhood in Santaquin.

I was involved in collecting food for the bake sale

At the event Linaya met Olaf

We got to play with our favorite old friends

It's always a fun stage when babies start "riding" like this in the stroller

Courtney met us up there (and brought Gauge so we had 3 cousins to play with)

Here's a fun story:

You make plans to go to Moab overnight and pick the kids up early from school friday at noon... then as you are driving away from the school your husband gets a work call.  He heads into the office for a "quick time" that gradually turns into 4 or more hours of problem solving.........
you play on the boss' kids backyard for a few hours before giving up and going home for the night. Husband finally gets home at 7 pm from work.

So instead of an over-nighter, you make it a fun day-er for Saturday only and head on off to Moab to canyoneer with the Merrells in Fins and Things route.

Then you realize you are taking 5 children canyoneering... one is a 2 year old and the other baby is 9 months old.

What is expected to be a 4 hour route ends up being an 8 hour trip... again, you have 5 kids under 10 with you.

But you bring along your hero husband who carries all across the water and down the rappells

You are lucky to have another hero with you... Blake also carries everyone across rivers so you dont have to get your shoes wet

and I"m not sure where the picture went.... but you also ziplined your baby off a ledge with them in their carrier.  We are crazy parents who love taking our littles on adventures.. even if mommy is secretly dying inside and feeling like a horrible parent.
But in the end you have a great experience and your're so proud of your little tribe for sticking to it during a very long, very tiring day of adventure.

MOTHER'S DAY
In perfect depiction of what the day represents, after an exhausting day the day before, I got to be up all night with a nursing baby who really really likes to sleep next to mommy.

I"m so blessed these beautiful souls call me Mommy
