All About Adelia

This month has been a big one for Adelia. She has been longing to take gymnastics, ever since she watched the Olympics in 2012.  We were watching the girls compete on TV and she was laying on my lap. She turned her face towards mine and says, "I could do that." and we knew it was true. She has always been super strong, very light weight, and very agile. Perfect combination for a gymnast!
When her preschool teacher moved away half way through the year, I decided to use that money for gymnastics. She started this month and has loved it so far!

First day:
She is always so silly!

In addition to starting gymnastics, she also made a new friend this month. She is so social, just like Tianna!
Her Mommy and Me preschool went on a tour of the Payson Market (before she went 2 times a week to an official preschool and 2 times a week with the mommy swap one)  It is so fun having the flexibility to do whatever we want with our preschool group!

In fact, just this week we went as a preschool up to SLC to the State Capital and the Hogle Zoo
I'll blog about that in it's own post very soon.

Anyway, a bit more about Adelia. Wow, she is a spit-fire! She is super energetic, and very determined... which sometimes leads to conflict with her parents, but we sure love her anyway!! She says the FUNNIEST things, she is brave, loving, and has a personality that lights up the room. We are very proud of her!

Jaaaanuary in a nutshell

Some snap shots of your typical days in the Peacock household

Luke was playing with the manual settings on the camera. He had some very willing models...

and one not so willing-- I spent most of January sick with a variety of illnesses. The last thing I wanted was my picture taken.

Good daddy's let their little girls fix their hair :)

 HAHAHA
We spent one wonderful weekend up in Scofield with some old friends: the Merrell's, the Langford's, and the Jensen's.  It was a perfect weekend! Great food, lots of laughs, games, all the children played so nicely, the boys had fun ice fishing, setting up a zip line in the trees, and generally acting like they were in high school again.  Gotta love friendships that withstand the test of time!

Adelia's preschool had a fun field trip to the fire station.

Twenty-Nine

Mama's Birthday:
Made special by these little lovely ladies and one fine gentleman
Tianna spent many mornings before school making me a birthday crown (very very tall one I might add) and drawing me secret pictures then stashed them away for my special day. She woke up really early that day to decorate the house with curly ribbon and display all my gifts.
Adelia found some of her favorite little knick knacks to give me.  They are so sweet!
Sweet, sweet Luke left work early and braved the very scary snow storm to drive up to Provo to pick up my flowers. It took him 2 hours! By the time he got home he didn't have as much time to make my cake, so I baked it and he assembled it. MY FAVORITE! Pineapple cream! :)
Linaya joined us post nap right before dinner
Then we had dinner at Tadka--the new Indian restaurant in Payson and then watched
"FROZEN!" which we all LOVED.

I loved my gorgeous flowers, all the special attention, my new tripod for the camera, the Indian food, the cake, and the movie. It was a perfect way to celebrate my 29th bday!
