January 2017

Immediately following Christmas break, Mom and Vera flew to Dallas for a Norwex leadership conference.  It was scary taking a baby ... but she was a sweetheart (MOST of the time) She did not like the keynote speaker one night, and I spent the bulk of the evening rocking her in the back of the auditorium. Otherwise, she was a perfect angel baby!

Tour of the Norwex home office

Kristy Hubbard (CFO of Norwex) wanted to hold the cute baby! I was a tad star struck!

It was SOOOOO cold! They were having freezing rain in Dallas.
Even the hotel shuttels weren't running (not even to drive us to the hotel a block away.  We had to get an Uber so we didn't have to take the babies on a freezing walk)
My Teammates and friends, Kim Roberts and Baily McDonald

Our leader, Brittany Taylor

The Norwex incentive trip for the year is in Panama.  Can I earn it?? We shall see!!

The after Gala dance party-- Kim took Vera with her as she boogied out on the dance floor

Holliewood and Becky ward-- Norwex friends

My Friend, JaNell brought her sweet baby, Wesley.  Leadership conference the year before we were both pregant and she was much better at hiding it than I.  I was puking in every bathroom and feeling miserable-- she was silently expecting.  Wesley and Vera were born 1 day apart and now are Norwex buddies for life.  They shared toys, blankets, beds, and attention from EVERYONE

By the time we were on our way home we were both exhuasted and ready to see the rest of the family!

So what did they do while we were gone??
Apparently some rabbit hunting

The day after we got back from the Conference, we celebrated my birthday!
Luke made Chicken Tikka Masala and we had my parents over for dinner.  We also had my favorite cake, what I appectionately call, "Heaven on  Plate."  It's a yellow cake with cream cheese, pineapple, vanilla pudding, and whipped cream.  Mmmmmmm

We found Adelia's Christmas drawing had ended up in the Newspaper

It snowed A LOT in January... almost every day!

Vera learned to sit up on her own

Linaya started taking dance lessons from Aunt Tori

Tianna worked on her Science Fair project to show the effectiveness of cleaning with microfiber Norwex cloths versus disinfectant wipes and vinegar/paper towel.  Norwex won :)

Grandpa had a Horse day at the arena

So MUCH SNOW!!

Playing at Grandma Bonnie's house

With all this amazing amounts of snow, we still hadn't managed to make it to Scofield to play.  Finally we made plans to meet Jason and Joy and their family up at the cabin for some snow fun

Luke went to his Aunt Sheryl's sealing to her husband, Mike
