We started the festivities off with helping get moved into the Cabin in Scofield for the holidays. It's quite the feat getting so many people up there, all the food, all the clothes, and Christmas presents galore!
Vera got to ride in style (in the Snowcat with Grandma Bonnie)
Christmas Eve at the cabin
She's still not sure about that baby food stuff
The Frandsen Nativity
"Baby Jesus" was a little wiggly
Bundled up and ready to go home to our house
But first.... a quick stop for the girl's first present:
A PIANO!
Looks like Santa Claus found our house
Santa left them money to buy books and start piano lessons. He also wanted Linaya to start taking dance classes!
After church we went back to the cabin. We were able to give my parent's their Christms gift: A book sharing all of the pictures and memories we could find of them with our children, starting at Tianna's birth and ending with the most recent Thanksgiving. We loved giving them this special present!
We had "SNOW" much fun sledding together
That night we had the Cousin gift exchange, followed by a dance party!
We had our friends, The Anderson's, join us at the cabin for sledding
One afternoon Tianna made her Reflection project. She made a family tree
And then sadly it was time to leave. But... we travelled in style-- snow cat style
And luckily we didn't need to be sad about leaving for too long... we went straight to Castle Dale for more Christmas fun with Daddy's side!
First stop: Swimming!
Next day- Sledding!
After sledding we had an epic Christms cookie decorating time
New Years Eve
The Adults Only Dinner (babies welcome)
We went to dinner at the Balance Rock. Service was terrible!! but the food was good
and the company was most excellent
One of the coolest things we did at the Peacock's house was watch old recordings from Tianna's Christmas at 15 months. She was the only grandchild at their house for Christmas (they only had 2 anyway) and she was followed around about a camera the ENTIRE time. It was so fun to watch that footage. She was soooooooo cute! (still is, don't worry!)
We spent the rest of New Years playing games and eating Grandma Belinda's famous popcorn!
Vera fell in love with Jayde's 4-wheeler. She thought she was super cool riding it!
Ringing in the New Year
And.............. that's a wrap for 2016. What a wonderful year, especially that it brought us our sweet baby Vera and many wonderful and cherished memories with our other lovely girls. We are very very blessed.
