Our December

On the way home from Grantsville for Thanksgiving, we decided to make our annual Temple Square trip while we were already in SLC. It was such a great decision.  Far less crowded... warmer temps... and again, FAR less crowded.  And yet, every bit as beautiful and it set a good tone to begin our Christmas season.  We love Temple Square!
(yeah, i'm that far behind updating that I can post time hop photos from facebook now. Pitiful)

Later in December, a ward friend of ours gave us free tickets to the Jazz game. It was VERY FIRST! Way way fun date night.

We love decorating for Christmas.

One day Luke, Linaya and I went to breakfast. I don't remember where the sisters were, but it was fun to spend some focused time on the littlest member of the family.

The BIG sisters had their winter dance recital.  They are so totally cute!

Another classy YM/YW activity night.  Ugly sweater contest :)

Tianna and Adelia had their school Christmas parties... lots of sugar was consumed that day!

But apparently it was not enough because we felt the need to make Christmas cookies a few days later.

Grandpa and Grandma lake sent us a gift card for Christmas while they were still on their mission in Georgia.  We used it to go to our family's favorite restaurant in Payson-- Tadka. Mmmmm Indian food!

Thanksgiving weekend

We made the mistake of going to free zoo day at Hogle Zoo.  It WAS DEFINITELY a ZOO! We had fun, but it was super super crowded... and we lost Aden.  He wandered away and made his way to Grandma's car (which was locked, but miraculously wasn't when he got to it.) so he climbed in and stayed there while we were frantically looking over the entire zoo.  Eventually a security guard found him safe and sound...... the rest of us needed therapy.

After the crazy zoo event, we went to Grantsville to spend Thanksgiving with Courtney and James at their home.  It was tasty and fun :)

November in a Nutshell

Mary had a Norwex party in Logan... while she did that, the rest of the family  met up with our Logan BFF's (the Smith family) to go to the Jump Zone

On Nov 15th we had our first (and pretty much last) good snowstorm if the winter. It was fun playing on our sloped yard with the next door neighbor kids (the Marchants)

 Meet Fred the snowman

Adelia lost her second tooth.  (the first came out before she was even 5!)

On November 21st, our sweet niece, Jaycee was born. Welcome to the Jason Frandsen family! :)

Tianna's Baptism Day

The day after Halloween was a very special day for us.  Tianna was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  It was a perfect day.  We had the support of family and friends, the spirit was so strong, and everything went as planned.  And most importantly, Tianna was able to make sacred covenants with her Heavenly Father. We couldn't be more proud of her and the beautiful, kind, person she is.

Halloweeeeen two thousand fourteeeeeeeeeeen

As usual, Halloween lasts a whole month.  We had the Peacock party, a neighborhood party, Luke and I had YM/YW Halloween party, the kids had friend parties, dance costume day, and school parties... and THEN it was actually Halloween.  By the end of the month, everyone is sick of dressing up. Or, maybe  Mom is just tired of dressing everyone up.

Luke is such a good sport. I love it :)

Oh, and if all the dressing up isn't enough, the school's always stick Red Ribbon Week in the same time as Halloween.... So here we had crazy hair day too.
Linaya wanted to show off her crazy do too (even if it was just bed head)

We tricked, we treated, and we conquered the neighbor's spook alley.  It was a great holiday MONTH
