Norwex

Right after our family vacation, I made a bold change.  I joined a company called Norwex.  It is mostly to blame for this blog being so far behind, as Mary's free time has been spent with her own direct sales business.  Though, it has taken my time, it has been a great experience.

Norwex is a home party company that sells specialized microfiber cloths and non-toxic cleaning supplies and personal care items.  Sounds boring-- but it is SO fun and has given her great experiences.

All of it began in Oct 2014.

Family Vacation 2014

One of the best vacations EVER! We had a week stay in Brian Head, Utah at the Cedar Breaks lodge for just $90.00 (less than the price of one night stay!) It was so low-key and fun... definitely one of our family memories for sure.  But since we made a whole book about our trip, I wont go into too many details, nor add all of our pictures.  But to recap:

On Saturday, Sept 13, 2014 we began our adventure, arriving in Brian Head early afternoon that Saturday.  We first drove out to Cedar Breaks and did some over looks, but didn't go too far because our Pathfinder started having serious problems..... fearing we'd get stuck, we went back and checked into the lodge.
We spent the evening swimming and hanging out. 

Sunday morning we drove down to Panguich to attend church, and drove out to some Native American site.  We also spent time at the local parks before doing a few more overlooks in Cedar Breaks.

Monday, the girls and I stayed at the lodge while Luke took the car down to Panguich to get fixed (boo!) But meanwhile, we had a great time taking Tianna's baptism pictures in the beautiful fall foliage. 

That evening we drove down to Kanaraville to hike a local slot canyon, Kannaraville Falls. It was AMAZING! Then we ate dinner in Cedar City. 

Tuesday, Tianna's birthday, was spent in St. George. 

We went to Brigham Youngs Winter home, the temple grounds, the children' museum, frozen yogurt with Luke's old friend from high school, and Tuacahn that night to see "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat."  

Wednesday we did Bryce Canyon

Thursday we did Zion. 

Friday we spent time at the lodge and saw more of Cedar Breaks, an ancient tree forest, and lots and lots of fall leaves. It was a relaxing and gorgeous day.  

Saturday we took our time and eventually packed up to head home, but not before taking the much longer, and more scenic route home through Cedar City canyon.  

It was so fun to see local beauty, just be together as a family, and spend the whole week watching the transition of the leaves from a few spots of color in the sea of green, to the whole forest ablaze in color.   We love UTAH!
