New Years Eve and Everything else in between

Between Christmas and New Years was rather uneventful.  Luke had to work 3 of the days, the stomach flu went rampant through the cabin (starting with me. Sorry again, guys!) and there was hardly any snow to play in except for on the driveway.

We went on a lot of walks. (which was actually really nice) Casey had back surgery and needed to go on several walks a day and it was a good excuse to get outside and get some exercise too.

We also went trap and pistol shootings quite a bit as well.  Glad to know I am still pretty good with a shot gun ;)
Neil and Bonnie opened their photo block tower.
Payton and Adelia in one, Rylie, Tianna and Pyper in the other.
It was kinda sad not having a single snowmobile ride.
Grandpa and his gaggle of girlies!
Whino Wides! (Rhino rides)

NEW YEARS EVE
 The yummy spread!
Don't ya just love the "natural" smiles Adelia makes lately?
I am so lucky to have this guy by my side to ring in the new year!
To all of our family and friends, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
May 2012 be the best year EVER!!!!!!!!

A Long-Awaited Surprise!

FINALLY Christmas arrived so we could spill the beans to the girls what our gift to them was. ... it was something we have been waiting years to be able to give them!

It started with a big box!
Then a bunch of packages inside that box.
 1: Disney character pajamas
 2: the Lion King movie
 3.  Snacks
 4.  Letters to be unscrambled
"Should we go to Disneyland Tianna?" "Yeah!" "When?"  "Um.. today?"
Tianna was really happy but sort of confused at first because she knew we weren't going that day.
Then they opened the last package inside the box.
5: A countdown calendar.
When they found out we were going to Disneyland on Mommy's birthday (Jan 9th) THEN it clicked we were really going and they really REALLY got excited.
Adelia wrapped her arms around Luke's neck exclaiming, "Oh thank you Daddy!" And Tianna began jumping up and down.      and continued to for at least 5 minutes straight!
Yep, i think they are excited!!! So is their MAMA! We leave tomorrow morning and I am just about as crazy-excited as they are!

Best Day of the Year! CHRISTMAS!

Santa most certainly found the Peacock's house!
Waiting patiently........ because they had to!
 Our family's corner
The girls found Santa brought them exactly what they had asked for: Tianna and her Aurora Castle
 And Adelia got her piano
They both receieved Christmas dresses (which Adelia has already CUT with scissors. that turkey!)
 Lukey received a step ladder.
And Mary was surprised with a coffee table and end tables for the living room. Aren't they perdy?
Adelia was sure to test drive Aden's 4-wheeler.  It worked. Just ask everyone who's toes got ran over that morning :)
Oh No! Somebody must have been sorta naughty! He got COAL
 and some other stuff too!
What's this? Silly putty?  I love the truly joyful expressions no kids faces!
The girls gave Luke a picture (and frame that matched his rifle) for his desk at work
Tianna and Adelia gave each other Doodle Bears.
Bert and Belinda opening their gift from us.  It's a photo-block tower.
The girls gave me some new necklaces
Aunt Monica just rocks! She and her photoshop skills-- wow. She turned Adelia into a beautiful fairy and Tianna into a gorgeous princess!  They each got a set for their bedrooms. I can't wait to have 5 minutes to actually hang them up!
Here James is showing us all what Luke's parent's surprised each of us with.  A new camp chef! We can't wait to get cookin'!  Thank you so much!!

One of the best parts of the day was attending Sacrament meeting together with the whole family.
MERRY CHRISTMAS, from the Peacock's
