Birthday Party for 4

Party time round 3!
For some reason my family always has so many birthdays right on top of each other's.  For June we had Taylor (11 on the 11th), Adelia (2 on the 13th), My Dad (66 on the 14th) and Pyper (2 on the 15th).
We gathered for a yummy dinner, cake and ice cream, and presents.  and FYI that cake was SO GOOD!!
She's a little stinker-- but a cute one!
Patiently waiting for her wish-making, candle-blowing, cake-eating good time!
She thought she needed to help Pyper blow her's out too.
Daddy had to work late, but made it home just in time for her to run to him covered in cake and ice cream.
 The lil b-day girls!
 The big b-day girl

Whew! An entire month later i finally got it all posted. gotta love birthdays... and WE DEFINITELY LOVE OUR LITTLE ANGEL!!!!  she's such a spunky and fun loving girl.  We are so grateful to call her ours.

She's 2.......... and She's GOOD AT IT!

It feels kind of ironic to be making her birthday post right now when she's acting VERY 2. By that, I mean, she's throwing a trantrum about something. Good times!
Anyway, On June 13th, Miss Adelia Rose Peacock had a birthday!
The weekend before we celebrated with the Peacock side of the family.  We had one fantastic cake-- thanks to Luke's mom and sister, Monica. The cake would have been a lot simpler if i had done it on my own, but since they helped, we ended up with one rockin' Tinkerbell cake!
DURING:
6 HOURS and 4 CAKE MIXES LATER:
We had a low-key cake and icecream party at the Castle Dale pool with the family and enjoyed us some swimming. (no we did not wait 1 hour before entering the pool after devouring the cake! hehe)

When we went to the store to pick out her Tinkerbell for her present (and her cake top) we walked past a rack with hats and purses.  She said, "Mom, need hat and need purse."  So we got them... and imagine my surprise (not) when they had Tinkerbell on both of them.

Then her grandpa and grandma got her this BRIGHT green Tinkerbell tutu and a shirt to match. She was styling, that's for sure!
But, it did not last. That pool was WAY too tempting!
Luckily, the guests arrived just in time. Thanks everyone for coming-- and for your wonderful gifts. She loved them all!!
I wish I had gotten a picture of all the attendees, but at least I got this gem of her hugging Grandpa Peacock.
"Pool party baby, it was a cool party... cool pool party, oo la la la"

St. George trip

Well, June's about over and I have yet to post about any of it! Let's start with the first weekend of the month.  Tianna, Luke and I went with some friends to St. George.  The main purpose was to go to Tuacahn to see The Little Mermaid.
It was a quick trip but SO FUN! We left friday afternoon, and first went to Payson to pick Luke up from work, then zoomed on down to the theater.
Tianna brought along a special friend for the event ;)
That night we stayed in a condo Mindy had arranged for.  It was equipt with a sweet pool too :)
Saturday we went to the temple-- it was SO GREAT!  That afternoon we utilized the facilities and then cleaned up to stop on our way out of town at a reception from one of the guys who went to Havasupai with us last year.
 Lunch at the Pizza factory
 It was so beautiful!
Luke will be thrilled I added this picture.  He was the lucky one who got the Spidy towell... and he ROCKED IT!
We had so much fun on our little excursion.  We missed our littlest monkey who stayed with Luke's parent's, but we were glad Tianna could join us on our "big girl trip."

1 Month down. and a major MAY UPDATE

It's hard to believe we've already been living here in Price for a month! Time flies when you're having fun! (it's surprisingly fast, too, considering how anxious we are to move to Payson... but since that isn't happening yet, we're making the most of our time here in Price. even if Daddy is gone too much)

This is our catch up post for our random pictures that don't belong on holiday or special occasion posts.
First, I must post some of our "Good bye Logan" pictures... just to make sure they are in our book when it prints. We didn't get pictures with all our friends before we left,  but we did get some:

The Zaugg and Peacock girlies in their matchy dresses.
And their cute Mommy Shannon. We were girls camp leaders last year and got really close!
Just had to throw this one in... for several days, every time I got Adelia out of the car, she'd kiss this tree. do not ask me why, cause i do not know. But, it cracked me  up!
Oh, these cute girls.......... Tianna and her best friend, Kendra.  I'm sure if we stuck around long enough for them to get a bit older, Taylor and Adelia would have become best buds too.
My sweet visiting teaching partner, Mayi, and her cute little Ashton. They also lived right by us.  We had so much fun going out each month and we taught the best ladies ever. I will truly miss all of them.
We have tons more friends we should have taken pics with.. but alas, that was all we got.  To all out there not posted here, i MISS YOU! We seriously met some of the world's best people in Logan.

On May 16th,  Tianna had to go back to Primary Children's and get steroid injections in her knee joints again. This time they did both knees, even though only the right one bothers her, her doc said the other looked swollen. So far she seems to be doing well... but it's still not 100%  in her right knee, like we had hoped. In the morning we have her 4 week (wow time flew!) follow up.
She did excellent with the injections this time though. Less pain afterwards, and it was over all a better experience. She even walked out of there with a fairy doll with bright magenta colored hair. Her name is "Tinkerbell Purple." And this little doll she named Tianna. She got to draw her face and color her hair. It made her feel so special.

Now, what we've been up to while living in Price.  I have done a lot of yard work. it's been fun : D and the girls have done a lot of playing... especially with their cousins!
We've been to Vittoria's grave several times. Oh how we miss that little sweet heart.
This particular time, Jocelyn joined us.
We went to the CEU Prehistoric Museum with cousin's, Aden and Harley.  And yes, it was just as awesome as I remember.  I have always enjoyed the museum and it was great to share it with my children.
Another awesome thing about living here is  catch up with old friends and letting our kids have play dates at the park.  We've been to the Dino Mine park twice, and we even had one fun trip to Wendy's with another friend... unfortunately no pics of that event.
Adelia has been working on her fashion sense.  Those boots WERE meant for walking, right?!

Following our little jaunt to Logan for Tianna's preschool graduation and our yard sale, we went up to the cabin. The weather was crumby, but the company was good.
Here, we have Teacher Taylor and her attentive pupils, Tianna, Rylie, and Adelia.
This is our duct tape spider web.  See, my dad decided to try and take a dive through the large window, instead he got caught up in the ladder and dangled by his shins and calves.
All joking aside, it was a VERY VERY SCARY EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!
Early, early on Memorial Day my dad started washing the windows from the ladder out on the deck. But see, it had snowed the night before so the deck was slick.  Just as my brother James, decided my dad was going to fall and that he should go hold the ladder, the ladder slipped and slid back across the deck, hitting the railing.  It jarred my dad enough that he fell backwards but thank HEAVENS, he slipped into the rungs and it saved him landing head, and/or, neck first.
Meanwhile, the ladder crashed through the window, shattering it and sending glass, literally through the entire family room and into the kitchen.  James ran across the broken glass to rescue my dad and cut up his feet, but it is truly a miracle they are both fine.  What a way to start a holiday, huh?
Between breaks in the snow and gloom, Tianna took a spin on the horsey swing outside. Notice the snowsuit? Yeah, it was chilly!
Adelia and Pyper decided it was okay to be friends.... for a minute.

Well that just about wraps up all of our Adventures in MAY.  Stick around for some more JUNE fun, coming right up! ....... in a few days though : )

Tianna the Graduate...

After Luke's graduation all Tianna could talk about was getting to go up to Logan to her preschool graduation. Not that she gets to go to Kindergarten like the other kids though-- darn late birthday's.  But Kindergarten or no, we went to her graduation on May 27th.  She grinned from ear to ear all day long. I'm pretty sure she was more into it and more excited than any of the other children were.  And she was THRILLEd they had a cap and gown for them to wear. Every single day she would ask me when her graduation was and if she got to wear the hat and the dress like daddy did.

How quickly the year went by! August 20, 2011
