Nothing Exciting to Blog

So... it feels like forever since I've posted anything... I've been holding out until I had something really fun to put on, but... well... I don't.

Life has been too monotonous I guess. Luke wakes up - goes to school all day while I spend all my day cleaning up after the Tiannimal and such. Then Luke comes home for awhile and we eat dinner together. Then I dash off to rehearsal. A few hours later Luke goes to work and shortly thereafter, I get home. Then I put Tianna to bed and watch American Idol that Luke recorded for me until I fall asleep on the couch. When he gets home at 1:00 am-ish we go to bed and start the whole cycle over again. In a nutshell-- that's our life right now.

One fun thing-- I put mascara on Tianna's insanely long eye lashes the other day. She always begs for me to put makeup on her while I'm doing mine, so I decided since I was just about to give her a bath I would see what it looked like. (Let me just say, that is with only a little dab just on the very tips. Who knows where she got lashes like that?? I wish I could say from me!) And no.. she does not have a lazy eye, it just looks like it in that picture.

Then, like promised- here's a picture of Belle and the Beast. Yay for them! They are doing such an amazing job I look forward to seeing those who are coming up to see the show! It will be so fun to have visitors.

Ticket Information

For anyone desiring to get tickets for Beauty and the Beast..................

I have recently discovered that you have to make a reservation by calling 435-458-BARN (2276) and tell them you want tickets for such and such date... but you pay at the door the night of your show. So......... if you want to go, I suggest calling ASAP because the matinée` for March 15th is already sold out.

And just in case anyone is wondering-- this show is going to be impressive. The costumes alone are soooooooo good. Our beast (of which I don't have a picture yet) is probably the closest to the movie of any picture I have even found on the Internet. The one from Touicahn in St. George looked like a hog... So here are a few sneak peeks! :)

February is FLYING BY!

This post is going to cover a lot of ground.... first off we have the ANNUAL SCOFIELD SNOWRIDE on the 9th! How fun, how fun!!! It has been way too long since I've had a good snowmobile ride and this was extra great because of all the snow! It made me quite happy!!!

It was also really nice to see my family! Especially James and Val who were in Italy for Christmas so we haven't seen them since Thanksgiving.

Then of course we had good old Valentines Day! Can I just say that I love that holiday.... it's so girly! I especially love decorating for it because of all the pink, red, hearts, flowers etc..

Luke brought both Tianna and I flowers, and each of us a book and a card. :) It was so sweet!! I made Luke a chocolate cake (my first bunt--i was so proud) and a scrapbooked booklet with date gift cards. I had set up the cake and everything picnic style and hoped Tianna would be taking her nap when Luke arrived home from school so we could actually have a "mini-date" before he had to go to work. Well... it didn't exactly work out as planned. *sigh* but it was still fun.
We ended up just going to the mall to the photo booth. Someday I'll scan the pictures to put on here. Luke made up for our lack of date by arranging for a babysitter on Saturday so we could go to the Temple... it totally made up for it!

And last but not least-- I auditioned for another show at the Old Barn Community Theatre-- (I'm currently in Beauty and the Beast). I had decided not to audition because I felt like one show was enough for awhile. I went to the theater Saturday to pick up some things I had left and I knew people would be there holding the auditions. On the way out to Collinston (15 minutes from Logan) I decided I would probably try out for the sake of experience. Well.. to make a long story short-- 2 hours later I got a phone call saying that they wanted me to be Cinderella!!!! Ironically, I wanted the part of Belle really really badly so I flopped the audition because of my nervousness and ended up as a fork (i have now embraced it and love being in the ensemble but I was quite disappointed initially). Then, I didn't even want to be in Cinderella, let alone BE Cinderella so I wasn't nervous at all. Funny how life works.
Anyway-- I'm way excited/nervous and look forward to this challenge.

And in case anyone is interested--- Beauty and the Beast runs March 7-29th, every Friday, Saturday, and Monday. Cinderella will be in May...

I've been Tagged!

Once again I've found myself sitting at my computer waiting for Luke to come home from work instead of where I aught to be... which is sound asleep in my bed.
So, thank you Caitlin for tagging me so that I have something to do! :)

About Me and My Sweetie

What is his name? Luke Bert Peacock

How long have you been together? We are coming up on our 4th Valentines day together! (the first one we had just started dating)

How long did you date? 6 months before we were married---about 3 months until engaged

How old is he? 25

Who eats more? Well, Luke.... but I eat a LOT more often. That kid could eat once a day every day and not even care. But he usually makes up for it at one sitting--or at least he use to.

Who said I love you first? Luke did---I was too scared of getting heart broken to even think about the L-word yet. It took me 2 more weeks ;)

Who's Taller? Well let's see.

Who can sing better? I'd have to say I do... but Luke remembers lyrics much better than me

Who is smarter? He is for sure! Book smarts and common sense

Who does the laundry? Definitely, me

Who pays the bills? I do.

Who sleeps on the right side? Luke....I just read on someone else's that it switches every night.. I just have to ask, why?

Who mows the lawn? me... who shovels the driveway? Luke

Who cooks dinner? We both do but usually me

Who drives? Luke, thank goodness

Who is more stubborn? In most cases---ME

Who kissed who first? Luke kissed first-- ;) After Friday Forum in the CEU parking lot. Oh baby, oh!

Who asked who out first? Thanks to Mel Spencer (still shaking fist at her) I did

Who proposed? Luke... aw :)

Who has more friends? I'm the social butterfly-- but he is very loyal to his close friends

Who is more sensitive? Me for sure. Luke's a sweetheart but way too placid to be considered sensitive

Who has more siblings? I do, by one

Who wears the pants? I'm going to have to go with what Caitlin said....
"He wears the pants, I suggest what pants to wear." And with my own addition-- if he chooses not to "wear" my suggestion--watch out ;) ;)

Alright now it's time for tag. I tag.................... Monica and Julie

"I love Fishes 'Cuz Their So Delicious..."

Purse--check
Hat-- check
Baby and Carseat--Check
Bib around wrist-- check (????)

First of all, anyone who knows Tianna will understand why this shirt is absolutely perfect for her. Let's just say, it's a good thing we live near the Pepperidge Farm factory because she could eat us out of house and home with her habit. Secondly, this was too cute not to share. I didn't dress her up like that... it was all her!

I Love Blogs

Okay..... so, I'm hooked! Everyday I find out more and more of my friends have blogs. I love it!
I sort of feel excluded by my "old life" now that I live away from all of my family and old friends so it's nice to hear what everyone is up to. It is very exciting! And helps to curb my homesickness that seems to creep in every one in awhile.

I keep hearing about all the snow that is in Price and it's just hard for me to imagine since it was NEVER like that while I lived there. I had a friend ask me when the last time I saw Price was and it saddened me to think I haven't really been there since the beginning of November. I drove through one day during Christmas break on our way to Castle Dale... but that's it! *tear*

It will definitely help to attend the ANNUAL SCOFIELD SNOWRIDE this Saturday. Seeing family is what it's all about anyway. Some of Luke's family was able to visit us here in Logan 2 weekends ago and it was wonderful! Hopefully more will come to see us in March when Beauty and the Beast is going on.

Luke's youngest sister, Courtney, left our house looking waaaaaaay different than when she arrived. There is a before pic from Christmas... and the after. She's such a babe! We had a salon party-- While Courtney was cutting a foot off her hair and having it dyed for 3 hours... Belinda, Luke's mom, and I both got our hair done. I'm blonder than I expected, but after a week.... it looks much better.

We Thank Thee O God for a Prophet

President Hinckley was my hero! When I first heard about his passing, I was struck by how deeply it effected me. It caused me to reflect on his influence in my life. I was only 10 when he became the Prophet so it was his voice that led me throughout the most crucial years and decisions of my life. I will be forever grateful for Heavenly Father allowing him to be our Prophet. He will be missed.... but his legacy will forever live on!

While I will greatly miss President Hinckley, I am so excited for the great things that will proceed from this new First Presidency. I know President Monson is the prophet God has chosen to fill the shoes of our beloved Gordon B. Hinckley. He is an amazing man with many years of wisdom and experience. The only thing he needs to do is get a cane so he can wack people on the head like his predecessor.
