Westwood Neighborhood Care and Share and Another Craft Fair

We loved a gathering our old Santaquin neighborhood put on each year that was a replacement of "neighbor gifts" and gave back to the community instead with collecting food for the food bank.
Wanting to establish something like that here in Price, we created the neighborhood "Care & Share."  It turned out so great! We collected lots of food for the food bank AND our new community food collection for the school children who only get food at school.  We also got money to help the ward members in need, and blankets, clothes and coats.  It was so fun gathering together as neighbors, even if just mostly ward members, despite out best efforts to make it feel like a community, not Church, event.
We had lots of treats, because everyone brought something to share instead of individual family drop offs at neighbor's houses.  There were little fire pits to stand by too.  It was simple and fun and hopefully a continued tradition in the neighborhood.

I few days later I did another Christmas craft fair, but this time at the High School.  Those are such long days... but worth it... maybe :P
A special Santa Claus also came to the craft fair.  Linaya saw him and exclaimed, "Oh it's Santa!!!" and dashed off to talk to him.  Such a sweet moment!
Vera wasn't convinced he was worth it.
The girls also danced during the craft fair.  We have such pretty daughters!

That night we watched the Helper Light parade. it was SOO cold!
