Preschool Graduation and School Assemblies

On May 1st, Adelia graduated from preschool!! Her official preschool ended in December when her teacher moved, but I kept doing the Mommy-Me one 2 days a week in our neighborhood. It wasn't always a wealth of knowledge and learning, but she had fun and it was great social interaction. Basically, what matters most for preschool!
Can't help but do a comparison. She grew so much this past year!!!

Somehow this year at Tianna's school I ended up in charge of organizing school assemblies. NOT my favorite job-- but it did give me an excuse to attend the cool ones like in February when they had Ballet West's "Nutcracker" (the condensed version--and in my opinion the BEST way to see it with little kids)

And this day we had the awesome opportunity to meet Miss Jessi Kate Riley: Miss Teen Utah.
My friend is over Utah's teen pageant so I had a pretty good hook-up. She was awesome! She came to speak about being true to yourself and embracing the things that make you unique. Then she played her violin and she is incredible! The kids all loved it!!

And not that it has anything to do with anything else, but this picture is funny:
Adelia had been attempting to hula-hoop while at the same time testing our her new swimming suit. Before I knew it Linaya had gotten into her new suit and was trying the hula-hoop too. She wants to do EVERYTHING her big sisters do. SO FUN!
