This April, the girls entered the coloring contest at their Pediatricians office.
Adelia's is on the left, Linaya's in the middle and Tianna's on the right.
Tianna WON!!! (in her age group) Funny thing is when they entered the coloring contest at Christmas time Adelia won in her age group. It's always out of quite a few entries too!
Tianna was excited about her gift set for her prize.
Good thing it came with an egg coloring kit because
I SERIOUSLY love coloring Easter eggs. It makes me so very happy! The kids probably like it as well as I do....... and Dad humors me, so we count it!
Like last year, we invited our good friends, the Prices, over to dye eggs. Last year was Melissa's first time every coloring eggs-- her parents are from Brazil so they have different traditions.
Linaya had no idea what was happening..... but she was sure excited to do it!
It's very serious business. Just ask Luke
We discovered THE BEST way to color eggs... while the egg is still really warm you write on it with crayons. The wax melts and creates really fun, smooth, pictures, then when you put it in the dye afterwards it creates an even better effect.
This isn't necessarily Easter related, but I can't think of a better place to put these amazing pictures we took of the lunar eclipse. We set our alarm and woke up several time that night to get these pictures. Luke was more dedicated than I was.... I wandered out, looked up, and went back to bed. I'm glad he spent more time capturing the gorgeousness.
