This past week was great!
Tuesday was our anniversary and we had some awesome friends watch Tianna for us while we went out to a nice steak dinner and watched the new Indiana Jones movie. (I think that was our first movie date in over a year...) And my wonderful husband gave me a bouquet of gorgeous roses! He's such a keeper!!
Wednesday Tori and her girls came up here to Logan for a visit and a Layers clothing party. (thanks to all those who came to that by the way). On Thursday we went swimming and that was way fun.. I just wish I had whipped out the camera while they were here. I should be ashamed of myself! But thanks Tori and co. for making the long drive. We sure had a good time and hope you did as well!
Friday, Luke, Tianna, and I headed out to Bear Lake. It was an adventure from the start. We didn't know where we were going to stay and it was already after 7:30 by the time we heard of Rainbow somethin' or another campground (basically the ONLY place a B.L. that wasn't filled up) By the time we actually got to the campground it was well after 8:00. We missed the road that lead straight to the campground and by the time we took an extra 3 minutes to turn around and go back--Tianna threw up. Had we taken the road the first time, it wouldn't have happened, or at least it wouldn't have been in the carseat. Let's just say... ew.
So alas, we found our campground and started to set up. Well, Luke set up while I cleaned up. Just as we were setting up our tent we caught the most gorgeous sunset ever!
Then while Luke
worked, Tianna 
ate , and I took pics! haha... Okay, so I helped too...Eventually we ate our tinfoil dinners and settled in for a good night's rest. Oh wait-- we forgot to grab the pump for the air mattress. We tried to lay straight on the ground but we concluded that neither of us would actually get sleep.... so we started to blow... and blow... and blow.
Finally, we settled in.
The next morning was great though! We woke up, went back to sleep, and finally rolled out of bed around 9:30. (now that's camping!) Then we made our way to the beach that was just over the ledge of our campsite. There we had an awesome and leisurely time playing in the water and pouring sand over ourselves.
Then we cleaned up, grabbed a raspberry shake from Garden City and basically came home. It definitely had it's adventures but it was well worth it!

Sounds like a bear lake trip you wont forget. But didnt you love that lake? It is one of my favorites! Especially the color.
That sunset really is gorgeous. But you know what I loved the most in all those pictures? Tiana's yellow dress while camping. Cracked me up!
Happy Anniversary guys!!! That's awesome! And I couldn't stop laughing about the Bear Lake trip. Sounds like something that would happen to us! Especially the forgetting the air pump part!
It looks like you guys had such a good time and I can't wait to see Tianna this week!
Tiana is so cute! It sounds like you had a lot of fun. Traveling with kids...especially when they get sick is always interesting.
Those are some of the most adorable pictures of Tianna! That girl photographs very very very very well! Of course we can blame most of that on the fact that she is so darn adorable its hard for her not to be cute...to someone that doesn't have to clean up her puke anyway...
