The Halloween festivities this year included:
A ward chili cook off.
I wanted a picture of her full costume but it apparently it required multiple pictures. It was SO cute! Love our little pea-chick!
Tianna our beautiful witch
and our sweet smellin' skunky, Adelia.
It also featured a fun date night costume party at a friend's house.

We won 2nd place in the costume contest
Our wonderful neighbors across the street just adopted their 3 foster children and had a fun party to celebrate.
We spent FHE at the same neighbor's house. We ate soup and cheese sandwiches and carved our pumpkins.
Unfortunately, I didn't have the oven set to the right temp and our bread was actually dough. DOH!
Luke spent a great deal of time on Linaya's owl. It looks awesome!
Adelia wanted a witch jack-o-lantern
Tianna wanted a black cat to go with her witch costume
And last but not least, HALLOWEEN DAY
Tianna's school had a costume parade and then being the room mom, I was in charge of the games for her class party.

This is how I traipsed around town on Halloween. It may or may not have had something to do with the GINORMOUS zit I was trying to hide! hahaha. The perks of that happening on a day like Halloween? Really, ANYTHING goes. So I donned my pore strip and curlers all day :)
Adelia had a class party and a little trunk-or-treat with her preschool class
Tianna's class party: There was SOOOOOOO many goodies.
That night we had our dinner in a pumpkin and then went out trick or treating... it was quite chilly (at least we thought so at the time. Being now December and an unusually cold one, at that, it seems quite warm!)
Linaya had the candy stash figured out!
Adelia thought my costume seemed pretty great. The next day she opted to sport the same look :)
OCTOBER 32nd
And, just because we didn't celebrate Halloween enough, we had one last party to attend on November 1st.
It was an Insane Asylum themed party that some friends from "Shrek" invited us to.
Luke was Sam, and I was Joon from the old movie, "Benny and Joon."
Apparently marriage and motherhood was too much for Joon to handle and her schizophrenia took a turn for the worst, landing her in the asylum... and it was hereditary. Our children have it too. haha...
So Sam came to visit us. :) and he is due for a haircut!
Halloween is such a fun holiday, but man, it was busy busy. I welcomed November!
