We started things off this month by a VERY spontaneous trip to Price for Conference weekend. We planned to stay home but Friday afternoon I found out that the fam decided to have a joint birthday party for the April bday's on Sunday afternoon. Friday night at dinner, I told Luke about it and Tianna got really excited. I told her, "oh honey, i'm sorry but I don't think we are going." Luke said, "Why not?" "Well..... because we weren't planning on going anywhere," I said. "But, if we're going to go we should make it more of a weekend than just Sunday afternoon." So we finished dinner, did the dishes, threw some clothes in a bag and headed out!
We loved Conference! It is always so refreshing! And the kids actually did REALLY. Tianna had a activity packet to work on so she paid attention for at least one whole session and parts of others. Adelia just busied herself and then took a nap during both of the afternoon sessions on my lap (which BTW is very very rare)
Saturday night, during the Priesthood session, my sister and her girls, my mom, and my girls and I, all went to the movie theater to see "Mirror, Mirror," for a girls night out. Good movie and great company!
Sunday we celebrated the April birthdays: Jason on the 2nd, Nati on the 3rd, and Harley on the 14th. We enjoyed some hamburgers and cake. Yay for other's birthdays-- good excuse for dessert and get-togethers!
