Thankful Message

I'm thankful for my life. I love the life I've been given.... and I'm too blessed to list all of the things I'm grateful for- it would take FOREVER TO WRITE! But the most important things in my life are my sweet husband, my wonderful daughter, and my loving and supportive family (that includes in-laws.)
I'm thankful for my home, my my husband's schooling, for my friends here in Logan and my other friends I've made throughout my life..... and so..........

I've decided to go private. I've chosen not to for my own convenience and because I have really enjoyed finding more and more friends to blog with... but it's not worth risking the safety of my family and friends whom I post about.

So Please, PLEASE...EVEN if you only occasionally look at my blog, let me know so that I can add you to our list. I don't want to go private, but I feel it's the only way in this crazy world.

ps- I also would have gone private sooner if there was some way that people could still view my profile to get my email address so they could contact me after I go private. Does anyone know of a way to do that... or for any other way for people to contact you if they don't know your email address?

If you go to your dashboard, you can edit your profile & leave a little message in your "about me" section with your email address, telling people to email you if they want access. Uninvited readers can still access your profile, just not your blog, so it has worked for me. I hope that helps!

PS: I forgot, if you want anyone to be able to view your profile, make sure that box is checked at the top! You can leave out personal info.

joyful700@gmail.com - I feel so relieved now that mine is private - it may be a pain but the peace of mind is worth it!

That's the reason why I haven't gone private yet -- I like the contacts that I make. So, I will probably take Natalies advice when I eventually get around to doing it.

an idea for you. start a new email account and put it in your profile for this blog. delete all the posts here, but one that reads you have gone private and if they want access, email you at.... your new email address. start your private blog on a new blog, with a new name.
periodically check your new email or your old blog to keep in contact with those who are finding you.
would that solve your problem?

I am so glad we went private. When we went to Price for my Grandma's funeral it was scary who said "oh I read on your blog that...." People that I wouldn't think even wanted to read about us and people I didn't necessarily WANT reading about our lives. We had people looking at our blog from all over the world, it was so creepy!

So count us in! smiley_jew@hotmail.com
