Adelia wanted a beach party... so a beach party she got!
We went over to Castle Dale for the city parade and then off to Great Grandma Peacock's house in Orangeville for a water party in her back yard. We sure love Grandma and her willingness to host such fun activities!
It's hard to see it from the angle of the picture, but the dots in the sand spell her name. They looked better in person, just saying.
And that cake tasted HEAVENLY! The sand was crushed Nilla Wafers, plus butter cream frosting. Maybe it sounds so dang good to me right now because I am on a no sugar diet and this cake looks divine. But if I rememeber correctly, it was delicious!
A few days later we have a big JUNE birthday's party at our house. We celebrated not only Adelia, but Taylor, Grandpa Neil and Pyper as well.
Each birthday-ee got to choose a dessert. We had cake, cheesecake, and german chocolate cake.
(darn diet!! this post is painful to write! haha)

Adelia sure has grown over the years. She is such a beautiful and lively young lady. She's still stubborn and fiesty as ever, but we love her even more for it!
We are very blessed to be her mommy and daddy!

June 2012 Flashback. Both cat and girl have grown... a bit.
The girls got their summer haircuts. So cute!
Mary's family hosted the Annual Oviatt Reunion in Scofield. The Oviatt is my Grandma Theressa's side. We have such a great time with them and it was fun having them all in our neck of the woods.
The only living siblings of the Oviatt clan-- Kathryn and her sweet hubby, Kenneth. They are some of the most wonderful people on Earth
The Summer Garden. So much fun.... so many weeds. Hopefully so much harvest in the end.
We did get a fair amount of peas. yum! (those I CAN eat right now!)
Fathers Day Gifts:
This year we made hand-print horse pictures for each of the Grandpa's.
We tried to personalize them to each Grandpa

This was Luke's dad's painting. Grandpa Bert loved riding his horses in the desert.
Grandpa Lake doesn't have horses... but his last name is Lake, so the logical thing was to do horses by a lake :)
Gandpa Neil had his painted to look like Scofield where he loves taking his granddaughters riding.
Now I feel terrible... we celebrated Luke all weekend long, i'm sure of it (since we always do stuff like that) but apparently we didn't take a single picture.
But we sure love that fellah! he is our rock, our protetor, and our best buddy. And the bestest best husband and Father we could ever imagine! Love you Luke!
