January 2016

Yup. It's actually January 2017... but better late than never, right?

2016 was a great year for our family!

We started out with a few firsts and a lot of fun in January!

First off: Linaya knows Jesus wants her for a Sunbeam! Our little girl started BIG GIRL Primary in what she liked to call, "Snack Class."  She learns a lot in Snack Class.... and not just about treats.

Mary went to Texas for the first time for a Norwex Leadership Conference.  It was SO fun.... but I was also SOOOOOO sick with my pregnancy that it made some parts far less than enjoyable.  Including this bus trip out to the Norwex home office.  But, it was super neat to see Norwex in action.

Lynda and her BLACK JACKET! woooo hooo!

Learning from our amazing company founder.

My name is on one of those leaves! Cool, eh?

While at our restaurant outing, I got a text from Tianna back at home.  She asked me what I was doing. I explained how I was out to dinner eating fancy lasagna.  She wrote back with "I'm Jesus... we are eating brot wats."  It took me a minute to realize she had tried to write that she was JEALOUS because she was eating bratwursts.   Super funny... we still tease her about it.

Cupcake ATM... say WHAAAAT???? So very delicious

I also had the chance to turn some ocean garbage into pieces for a work of art.  Norwex partners with a non profit company called "The Washed Ashore Project" to turn trash into something that teaches people about caring for our oceans by recycling and throwing trash away instead of into the ocean. We helped make a salmon.  VERY cool experience!

Then we had a fancy dinner.... I guess it tasted pretty good... but again, puking and all. :(

SOOOO much laughing took place this weekend. Great memories!

I was in Dallas from January 7-9th.  Yep, flew home on my birthday.  Luke and the kiddos picked me up from the airport and we went to lunch to celebrate. We settled on Indian Food! It wasn't quite as good as other places we have tried, but it was still yummy.

I felt all sorts of spoiled by my loving family.

Sunday, we went to my parent's house for dinner (provided by my sister, Jana and her family) and cake! Happy 31 to me.

Grandpa Neil took the kiddos to the fairgrounds arena for some horse back riding. They are cute :)
