Somehow Halloween has become a month-long or at least, week long event, don't ya think?
Here's how our holiday WEEK went--
Monday- carved an Ariel pumpkin and made cookies to "Boo" at the neighbors houses.
Wednesday-- Ward Carnival. The young men and young women set up booths for the kids and it was soo soo much fun! Tianna was in HEAVEN! Her and her little friends were so cute together. All 3 were pretty princesses. Luke helped the lady he home teaches to take her kids around the carnival. Here he's eating a donut off a string with the cute little girl. And I'm just now realizing that I look pregnant in my costume- awesome!
Thursday- took Tianna to gymnastics and discovered that it was a Halloween party... so she was costumeless and that bothered her for a few minutes but then she got over it and enjoyed the activities.
Friday- frosted cookies to take to the neighborhood and home teaching/visiting teaching families and then headed off to Luke's work for "Treat-or-Treat."
That night Luke and I went to a play at the Old Barn theater and I got to miss the last few (very important) minutes of the show because Adelia got really fussy. .... luckily I was sitting in the green room with the director and she told me how it ended. That's ALMOST as good, right? Um no.
Saturday afternoon we went to Salt Lake and spent SPOOKS DAY with James, Val, and Jacomo. It was so great to be there with them. It was their first main holiday without their sweetheart and it was really rough for them. Vittoria loved Halloween and she was always dressing up in such creative and fun costumes. Jacomo wore the same little costume Vittoria wore when she was his age.
It was a great way to spend our Halloween. We had sugar cookies, cupcakes, pizza, and of course, CANDY.... (GOOD BYE all my weight watcher points for the next two weeks...and hello again to the weight I've already lost.) The kids went trick-or-treating a bit at the neighbors houses and we had fun just hanging out. Before the night was over we even got to see my oldest brother, Garth's, family. Their girls are growing up so much!! Taylor is the oldest grandchild on my parent's side and she's just getting so tall, gorgeous, and SO GROWN UP. How ever did that happen?! I just love my family and am so glad that we get to see them all so often. (that includes Luke's side too) We are truly blessed.
I'm going to repeat my goal of last year of posting something I was grateful for each week during the month of November: So here's to you fam--- I'm so grateful for my own little family and for each of our wonderful families.

Too cute! I love the girls in costume and enjoying the festivities. By the way I absolutely ADORE the picture of the girls in their red dresses in the leaves! They are such beautiful girls.
What a fun week! Your girls are too cute, and I agree with Monica, that picture of your girls in the leaves is SO SO SO cute! I also love the picture with Tianna and the pumpkins, it made me laugh, what a funny girl!
Thank you for such nice compliments about my "baby." She really is growing up too fast. I can't believe it myself. I'm glad we were able to visit, even if it was just for a little. You guys are awesome. I also LOVE the picture of your girls in the leaves. WAY CUTE. :)
Sounds like you guys had fun filled Halloween festivities! I love the pics of your girlies! They are so cute!

That was one busy Halloweek! Looks like you had a lot of fun. Your girls are just darling.
Mary, I don't think you look preggers in your costume at all! But if it makes you feel better, a good friend of mine told me I looked pregnant in my trunk-or-treat "farmer" picture. (Apparently overalls aren't flattering on me and she's rude. haha) At first I laughed, but then I was like, "Hey!"
