Basically, they build really rugged PDA's that you can practically throw off a cliff and they will still work. They are used by surveyors, sheep herders, etc. He even gets to borrow an Archer and thinks it's pretty dang awesome!
I told you in my last post that I would show pictures of Tianna's quilt that I've been working on. It started out as just the crib blanket that I bought for her when she was a baby. I'm trying to turn it into a twin sized quilt. I've only finished the top layer, but I'll post again when it's finished!

As for Tianna.... I regret to say it, but she's been a couch potato this week. This sewing project has occupied a LOT of my time and she's filled hers by watching Cinderella. She's obsessed... and so far today, she's watched it Twice. I started it this morning while I got ready and when it rewound, she started it over. Yes, SHE started it over. Since my visiting teachers were here I just let her go ahead. Maybe I should stop blogging and take her jogging! Hahah..

Congrats to Luke! That was a really nice post and tribute! Your quilt is looking wonderful, Tianna will love it!
Looks good Mar!! You can't even tell it was a crib blanket. And you were scared to finish it! Ha look at you go girl. You're awesome.
That quilt is so cute!!! You're very talented! Maybe you can give me a little sewing lesson. I'm jealous. I don't even know how to sew on a button! Pretty pathetic, I know.
I am so glad to hear that I'm not the only one who lets her children watch tv more than recommended by some child experts somewhere. That quilt is darling. I am excited to see the finished product. I am so happy for Luke and his new job. It sounds like he'll miss Home Depot, though. ha ha. Tell him I said congrats.

I love that quilt!!! It is so cute. You will have to teach me how to do that when Jocelyn is older. Or maybe I should start it now so I will finish it by the time Jocelyn is five!! ha ha Way to go Mary! Congratulations to Luke on his job, that will be nice for you to have him home at nights also!
you are the sweetest thing. and the quilt is so cute. i am so glad we met
Awesome! Looks way good mary! Thats great he is able to stay and work part time!
The quilt is so cute! I wish I was talented enough to do something like that...I have tried and failed miserably. And I hate to say this - you are lucky that your child will actually watch tv - mine will not, which is really good and healthy, but sometimes I find myself wishing he would get absorbed in a good cartoon.
Anyway, we lived in Logan for a couple of years until Mark graduated and found his dream job. We are now living in Boulder City, NV and he works at the Hoover Dam. We love it here.
If you are interested in going rafting in the future we have one heck of a deal. We usually go for about 6 days (only once a year)and we only have you pay for food and fuel - so each person usually pays about $150 for the whole week. Quite a steal really. I have a bunch of friends that want to go next year, so I will be keeping things posted on my blog for those who are interested.
Mary! How that crap are you! it has been so long wow. Your little family is so freaking cute. I can't believe how fast life is going it seems. I am so happy that you found me on here. I will have to check in on you more often. And I am happy that your life is so great. you deserve it, you are such a sweetheart! Good for you and talk to you soon!
